The fear that an officer must feel when a felon, possibly armed, abruptly speeds off, risking everyone’s lives. The fear that Black and Brown motorists feel from decades of personal and communal experience and unaddressed injustices. 3/4

If we don’t start having uncomfortable conversations about these truths, officers will not feel supported, criminals will continue to cause mayhem, and people in our communities will feel divided and unsafe.
