I just spent the last 15 months covering that exact issue. I’m not underestimating it at all. But a) this bill is written to give the WH wide latitude to go after companies other than TikTok, and b) I don’t agree the state blocking content is a solution to “influence” issues.

@mtaibbi Matt, maybe I'm misunderstanding you but it seems like you're severely underestimating the power of AI to produce algorithms that can influence actions and thoughts.
