It passed overwhelmingly in the House, so I hope it dies in the Senate, but bills like that, or Greg Abbott’s executive order, punt away credibility Republicans might have gained on speech issues in recent years

@mtaibbi What’s the evidence the bill will have any meaningful political effect? Very likely will die in the senate and people will forgot about it in a month.
