Buuut, there’s also a good chance your former employer knew what they were doing when they published that photo of Tsarnaev. Ragebait?

@Jy151310jy Janet Reitman wrote that cover story/profile. When people flipped out about it, I wrote a column explaining the magazine’s use of the cover photo, which was the same one almost every other outlet used (including the NYT), but I never wrote anything about Tsarnayev
