@mtaibbi Is there any way to follow the trail back far enough to determine who came up with the idea to follow her and who authorized it?

It’s theoretically possible, but there have been so many other cases of people put on the list for dumb reasons, it’s more likely the reason is vacuous/subjective and this is why Marshals came forward. Remember, the Quiet Skies program has still not led to a single arrest!

@mtaibbi Is it at all possible she did something to deserve it? And if there was a systematic effort by the government to silence critics, why isn't every Fox News host on the same list? Why aren't you on the same list?
