Exactly. The game is understood and previously neither the pols mor the reporters got emotional about it. The difference now is that the press is both expected to roll over and does it, with enthusiasm and virtually without exception

@mtaibbi Exactly, it's the parties job to attempt to influence and its the press job to resist and present facts. It's sounds ridiculous when you say it out loud.
