Now DHS/CISA is saying that while they “understand” it was planned, they’re not going. No kidding - it’s canceled!
Why not just say, “We were scheduled to attend but aren’t now because the thing is canceled?”
Master class in making a small PR problem look very suspicious.

DHS/CISA was announced as a participant. But when @RandPaul sent a letter asking what was up, the conference shut down.

Okay, it happens. But then word circulated that the organizers- the same people who described DHS/CISA as “pivotal” - said DHS had “No involvement.”

Something is up with the canceled Election Day “tabletop exercise” that had been planned for Atlanta.

When announced, it drew buzz because of the weird optics - why hold a tabletop drill on the busiest day in the history of your institution?
