@mtaibbi Did you ever studied the Palestinian history? I doubt it. Because of their corrupted and abused leaders they suffered the last 75 years. They promised the moon but instead left them in poverty with no hope while they and their families became rich.

Vance criticized Europe’s abandonment of free speech. Brennan asked what this “accomplished” beyond “irritating our allies,” then said:

“He was standing in a country where free speech was weaponized to conduct a genocide.”

Not sure how that’s not an indictment of free speech.…

@mtaibbi I don't think she made the argument that Hitler's speech should have been reined in though. I think she just made the observation that his free speech was *part* of what allowed him to ascend to power. It wasn't the only part. We can't run RCTs in the past.
