There are extremely interesting technical challenges in FFmpeg such as codec reverse engineering, performance optimisation (often with hand written assembly language), supporting broken files etc.

Most of the world is not aware of what we do and this account shares these things.

Many people think FFmpeg is just a command line utility but that's like saying astronomy is the study of telescopes.
