I remain firm in my prediction that Elon is planning to deploy solar and batteries at absurdly massive scale.

Not sure when but within 5 years. Maybe we start seeing signs within 3 years.

Still small fry at 1GW.

For serious power in the 100GW continuous range (~1/5 of USA average power consumption), it probably needs to be solar/battery powered.

At 1TW+, solar/battery is the only realistic option.
