@NHarding97 No — it is a result of reducing the footprint of government (FL has the lowest # of state gov workers per capita) and my vetoing billions in proposed additional spending.

@RonDeSantis #2 and #3 are correct; but is it possible that #1 is the cause of local governments increasing spending, to make up for what the state stopped doing?

1. The state’s current budget is less than last year’s and last year’s was less than the year before that.
