@deff_jobbs There good courses in that region for sure — mostly the FL gulf coast courses but there are good courses in Alabama and Arkansas as well.

And it's true, I'm not the golfer I used to be. I can be satisfied with a good chunk of courses on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail and what Destin and surrounds have to offer, not to mention Tampa to Naples.

@deff_jobbs If all you want is beautiful scenery, great fishing and old Florida charm then the answer is nothing.

For golf, on the other hand…

I’d choose D largely for non-golf reasons, but you can make a great case for C, D or H.

C has the best stretch of golf in the US (Long Island), arguably the greatest course in the world (Pine Valley), and historic major championship venues (Oakmont, Merion, Winged Foot, etc).
