This is a total disgrace. An attack on a mosque is an attack on all of us. Any attack on a place of worship - mosque, shul or anywhere - is an attack on British liberal democracy itself. All must be protected equally. That is the point. And the government has to crack down

Arson attack on a mosque in Peacehaven, East Sussex last night.

Two people in balaclavas poured liquid at the entrance and also near a parked car and set it alight.

It is one of several Islamophobic attacks on mosques in the past few months.
