@RonDeSantis 1994 MLB avg attendance was 31K per game. It got over 32K in 2008. Was 29K this past season. So it got over the 94 strike but has slid.

MLB never recovered from the 94 strike. The McGwire/Sosa home run chase in 1998 helped mitigate short-term damage but the league suffered the permanent loss of some fans.
