@RonDeSantis So if I’ve paid years in property tax, and then sell my property, am I going to get taxed at 30% at point of sell? So a double tax? Totally stupid plan if so

Good thing we took care of sales taxes on baby items years ago.

(And have made essentials ranging from food and medicine to disaster supplies exempt from sales tax, too).

@crusadepepe Sales tax is a tax on consumption. Young people with families consume a lot more commodities than Boomers. An infant and a 2yr old means a lot of diapers. They outgrow their clothes fast. They need to eat etc. Boomers already have stuff and aren’t feeding children.
