@mikepat711 @GavinSBaker Super Cruise (GM) and Blue Cruise (Ford) are both ADAS Level 2, same as $TSLA. Mercedes’ Drive Pilot is a limited Level 3 system. I continue to believe that Level 4 autonomy will be standard equipment on all vehicles by 2030-32.

@GavinSBaker (2) But more importantly, at what point do results matter here, Gavin? $TSLA began its FSD effort in 2014, claiming big advantages in data collection/usage. Almost twelve years later they are still at Level 2 (supervised), the same as many other auto OEM’s. Efficiency…?!

@GavinSBaker Well, I originally posted about how little $TSLA was spending on AI. You took issue with a lot of technospeak about how Tesla customers were picking up those costs via shared-compute, etc. I responded with Musk himself talking about how much $ is needed. That’s not relevant?

They do need the large coherent Hopper cluster which probably cost over $5 billion.
