@elonmusk @ArtemisConsort In Bolivia at least all the money that came from USAID was used to finance internal politics to the point the government had to expel them, I didn’t like the Bolivian government then but still the point is the same… it wasn’t used for “aid”

Any USAID funding that had the slightest indication of being spent on worthy causes was continued, but transferred to the State Department.

They got $161M, of which $29M was for HIV/AIDS.

I don’t think the primary bad guys in the “mass Congolese rape” story are American taxpayers who don’t want to subsidize the entire third world’s healthcare. I think they’re the Congolese rapists.
