@RonDeSantis @ufhamilton I’ve got a 24 yo at Oxford doing PhD studies in hopes of being an academic - amazing to consider that Florida is bringing in world class scholars … as a mom, I’d love youngest wind up back in the home state teaching and mentoring the fine youth of Florida!

Bringing in accomplished, reputable scholars is a good thing and @ufhamilton has brought in some of the best from places like Harvard and Princeton.

But it also has a large number of very young faculty with big upsides who may be there for decades.

@RonDeSantis @ufhamilton Why are we bringing more senior citizens to work in florida from Claudine Gay's institution of Harvard when we have tangible young tenured professors available to work in state that can and should be recruited? We need to build a better bullpen for Academia in Florida
