@jk_rowling @ThomasWillett9 That's not how language works. "Trans woman" is an adjective + noun, like "tall woman" or "Irish woman". "Trans" describes a type of woman, not a "man who identifies as one". Your definition is ideology pretending to be grammar.

@ThomasWillett9 ‘Trans woman’ is a compound noun. By definition, it means ‘man who identifies as a woman.’ If the person in question was actually a woman, ‘trans’ wouldn’t be there.
