@JPHilllllll @barbarismcrit Yes. Not sure what the panic here is about. My position is clear and restated many times. The journalist was specifically asking about the appropriations bill and I was answering his question re: finances.

AOC: My position has always been clear that ICE funding should be cut. We’re seeing what they’re doing with this reckless explosion in funding, and I want everybody to understand that the cuts to your health care are what’s paying for this…

The statement 'I’m trying to be nicer' is a lighthearted and personal comment, indicating an intention to improve personal behavior. It does not engage substantively with the public issue being discussed, which is the position on abolishing ICE.
