@ChrisCuomo NB - spike protein has multiple states IIRC. MRNA supposed to produce it in a dorman / closed state.

@ChrisCuomo I thought that the MRNA component of the vax did just that. It instructed the body to create the spike protein. Happy to be corrected but fairly sure that's how it worked.

Two things can be true at once. What if the spike protein is present in the virus AND the vax? (Hint: it is says a lot of research). What if you could've been exposed to the spike protein even if you were never actually sick?
