For a while I have been suggesting that GPT 4.5 Turbo was a failed, rebranded effort at GPT-5.

Maybe I was right?

this weekend i went through every OpenAI employee's Github contribution history, aggregated them to predict when GPT-5 will drop

tldr: soon(but late)
