@sneilcbo @tvmp011 @GaryMarcus Compared to who though? If LLM's are anything to do with the future, OAI are streets ahead of the primary opposition and far less woke than Claude. It may well be that they've already reach peak LLM gains and anything after this will be slower or a different animal entirely.

@tvmp011 @GaryMarcus Strong suspicion that a true GPT5-equivalent won't come from OAI first. I could well be wrong, but I think they've lost their nimbleness.

@GaryMarcus I’m curious what you would consider to be the milestones required for GPT 5 & GPT 6. Would OpenAI agree?
Or will models start to become more and more iterative as valuable training data becomes increasingly scarce.

Can you imagine if the world put in $7T and GPT-4.9 (or even 5.5) was as far as we ever got? (Would it be worth it if 6.5 was as far as we got?)
