@ZaidJilani @mtaibbi The things you listed are products of highly centralized and heavy government involvement in people's lives backed up by threat of force. America isn't a socialist country.

America has no guaranteed paid sick leave, no guaranteed paid parental leave, no universal health care, no guaranteed paid vacations (or unpaid), one of the lowest union rates, and most expensive college. But to @mtaibbi conservatives have no power. Only the left does. OK.
