@GaryMarcus True. Now, Sama says GPT-5 will be as big a step from GPT-4 at that was from GPT-3. To keep the exponential trend going, GPT-5 would need to arrive by March 2025 and deliver on that promise. Jury still out.

Are you calling a ceiling in GPT/LLM capabilities?

@patmcguinness well sure but you need to fit a constant exponent for the claim to mean anything, and everyone would allege it was large for gpt-2 to gpt-3 to gpt-4.
