@GaryMarcus A few hundred is only ten doublings away from a few million. If by “soon” we’re talking the next decade then it’s definitely coming soon.

@skryl_alex there a few hundred there, not a million, and they only operate in a tiny number of places that are extremely well-mapped, with very good weather. and at a big loss, because of costs of the mapping, remote operations etc.

(But no, we will not see an actual fleet of a million robotaxis taking people from arbitrary points A to arbitrary points B anytime on demand soon.)
