@GaryMarcus I think it would also need a meta-system that can construct new knowledge representations internally and maintain a versioning system to evolve its internal knowledge representations.

The only plausible approach to trustworthy AI I know:
• Neurosymbolic hybrid AI
• Large-scale knowledge, with an innate core
• Better reasoning
• Explicit, dynamically updatable cognitive models
