@TheLobbyistGuy @GaryMarcus Apple is working with Google to use Gemma with Siri. We haven’t seen what they’ve come up with yet. But, the idea of having a LLM to effectively control our devices is superb. I can’t prophecize, but I would guess it’s more of a when and not if it happens.

@IAmDougLewis @GaryMarcus Most of these pedestrian tasks are handled on my phone, not my PC.

So you’d need a high end Siri with full access to the OS to click around and carry out tasks.

Given that Siri has only gotten worse in the 10+ years since Apple acquired it—I’m not holding my breath.

@GaryMarcus One of those domains interacting in your computer environment has a benchmark called OSWorld and everything does terribly on it now. But, you know how it goes you can only get better on the things you test. And well… Let’s talk in 18 months.
