@Nodnarbogstel3 @mtaibbi Where I live, if one of my neighbors gets robbed, and I’m walking by, and the police stop, they question me respectfully for several minutes without threat.

@ThankElon @mtaibbi The police cannot fix societal problems. It is completely up to a corrupt culture to realize its flaws and fix itself, regardless of color.

@Nodnarbogstel3 @mtaibbi The people and the cops are both on the hook to address the issues, of course. But the people need not be <excessively> hassled…they don’t deserve punishment. The way you make that happen is good policing and I know that’s hard. (Good DAs too.)

@Nodnarbogstel3 @mtaibbi I have friends who didn’t bring it on themselves. I suppose your argument is that law abiding Black people have a responsibility to stop fellow Black people from being criminal? If they don’t, they deserve the punishment of hassling. I suspect there’s a better way.
