@GaryMarcus I saw a junior dev who wrote every function with HisNameX(hisNameX):
as ALL of his function names. No comments.
Then he left, thank god, and left his garbage for the next guy to attempt to parse.

@GaryMarcus The killer app is software dev. I've saved tons of time just asking for relevant existing libraries and boilerplate function syntax. You still need to be competent to parse the output, but the system comments code better than most junior devs.

Reminds me of back when the Google Glass people were desperate for a killer app. (Spoiler alert: they never found one.)

BTW this is exactly what happens when even the execs pumping this stuff realize there is _no_ killer app. They'll try to throw it anything that moves in hopes something sticks.
