I just don’t understand how you can do both at the same time.

Licensing data hurts their legal argument for Fair Use in ongoing litigation, and plaintiffs might take note.

On the one hand, it’s good that we have licensed data.

On the other hand all of these deals hurt OpenAI’s defense in their various lawsuits for “fair use”
