@GaryMarcus As a CIO, I get pitched with AI/ML (now GenAI) solutions on a daily basis. Most don’t have anything to do with any of the tech. The sales folks don’t have basis understanding and yet confidently use these buzz words.

It does not substantively engage with public issues or contribute to civic dialogue in a meaningful way. Instead, it seems to mimic or satirize high-pressure sales tactics, which aligns more with a comical or promotional tone rather than serious public discourse.
