The statement by @GaryMarcus, 'The many articles in my substack, and my upcoming book Taming Silicon Valley,' is a promotional activity related to his work and does not substantively engage with public issues or policies. It is a response to a request for a primer on the current state of things, but it primarily serves to promote his own content rather than contribute to a broader civic dialogue.
