@GaryMarcus @ilyasut If @ilyasut truly believes he can build ASI, yet the majority of people polled do not want this “progress”, how is there moral fiber here?

Developing/not developing ASI is a choice. Not inevitable.

I am disturbed by the audacity to play savior in such a risky way.

I appreciate @ilyasut’s moral fiber and hope that he looks beyond LLMs, because I cannot see how to get to safe AI with LLMs alone.
