@mtaibbi My copy was called The Possessed and, no matter the title, it was wonderful. Truly great writing.

Some people can’t get into “Demons” but it’s incredibly funny and as you say, unfortunately very relevant now.

@mtaibbi Anna Karenina is incredible. My favorite Russian novel is Demons, but many would find it inaccessible. It is stunningly relevant to our era though.

That said, the Anna Karenina quote about how everything the idle crowd did was for the S Slavs is also perennially relevant.
