@BrickmanInGA @GaryMarcus I understand your skepticism. But retirement funds, large institutional investors, & public companies hold the largest share of stocks (aside from Musk at 13%).

And they ALSO have fiduciary responsibilities.

Fanboys are a relatively small segment. Valuation is another convo.

@melaniepeppin @GaryMarcus Tesla investors are primarily fan-boys of Elon Musk. They buy the stock for his cult of personality, not for the performance actuals, witnessed by its meme stock status. It would take a pretty egregious event for any of that cult to sue.

Why is Musk risking his reputation鈥攁nd perhaps his businesses鈥攐ver Trump? I don鈥檛 get it.

If he were ever convicted in this sort of thing, boards would have to fire him etc.
