@GaryMarcus The Global Alliance rates websites. That is pay to play. Get a high mark and they rate you as safe and you get more ad traffic.

That is part of the massive ad fraud people complain about.

There are a number of “rating” groups each with their hand out.

Honestly, I am completely baffled by this. Why should advertisers use X if they don’t want to? I really don’t get the legal or moral theory here.
