@KettlebellDan @elonmusk There is however not evidence to my knowledge that anyone is systematically doing so, though I agree it is possible in principle. You certainly can’t infer it from one example.

The evidence that chatbots make shit up is vastly greater than the evidence that the hallucinations…

@GaryMarcus @elonmusk It’s not that LLMs make mistakes that’s the issue here, it’s that they are adding code on top to influence the results that are shown

I cannot believe I have to say this but: one cherry-picked example of political bias in a chatbot does not a scientific analysis make. @elonmusk, allegedly a brilliant mind, should know better.

Yes, one chatbot really did say Trump wasn’t shot; another said Walz wasn’t the VP…
