@lower_votingage @GaryMarcus Voice mode was obviously a gimmick designed to make Google look old and boring. Still, I may be naive enough to think that the election could actually be the reason for the delay in the release of real advancements.

@GaryMarcus I am in a unique position as an alpha tester for OpenAI advanced audio. I can see the hype first hand. While the real time audio is pretty good, the AI voice is TERRIBLE at doing many things. Like it plays hangman thinking up a word and messes up EVERY time.
