Letting the government into any private matter ensures that the matter will no longer be private.

@marwilliamson @jvward You can’t successfully launch a viable national healthcare program, without price-capping all healthcare treatments/prescriptions otherwise they will price gouge TF out of the taxpayers. Just like colleges due to FASFA.

@jvward Universal healthcare has to do with how healthcare is paid for, that’s all. Right now private insurance companies do more to control our health outcomes than the government would do under Medicare for All.

@marwilliamson You can't have it both ways, Marianne. You can't in one breath say, "I want the federal government to guarantee full health coverage for every single resident of this country", and then in the next say, "I want all health records to be private and kept from government scrutiny."
