When future researchers actually get to AGI — maybe 10 or 100 years from now, whenever that may be — they are seriously going to shake their heads at the arrogance of people in the mid 2020’s who thought that LLMs that couldn’t even play chess were right on the cusp of AGI.

One of my (easier) benchmarks over the last couple years has been the ability of chatbots to play chess without illegal moves.

Looks like @Kasparov63’s still got nothing to worry about it.
