@GaryMarcus @Jason I can't understand why the baseline assumption would be "no political motivation" after trying to kill the most famous politician in the world at a political event. The act is the evidence, and it's pretty substantial evidence that he's politically anti-Trump. Right?

@Jason Is there something we know about either shooter that is consistent with either being on the left and attempting to shoot Trump because of allegations that he was a Nazi? Aside from a $20 donation when one was in high school? anything at all?
