The Secretary General of the United Nations said today that the state of the world is unsustainable. Nothing could be a clearer statement that the institutions we’ve trusted to keep some kind of order in the world have failed. 3/5

MLK said there’s negative peace and positive peace. Negative peace is where there’s no outright violence yet there’s an underlying tension and anxiety. He said positive peace could only be predicated on brotherhood and justice. 2/5
