A Cop City is a terrible idea, not only for Atlanta but for other cities planning them as well. It separates domestic police from the rest of the population in a way that fosters an “us versus them” mentality - the last thing we need right now.

last week, all charges were dropped - RIGHT before trial was set to start - against 8 people who protested against Cop City at a construction site 2 years ago. they were jailed for nearly a week after arrest, and have obviously been impacted by the charges over the last 2 years.
