@marwilliamson Here's the thing, surgeons are already working as fast as they can in a safe manner.

Being anesthetized for extended periods of time brings additional risks.

The idea that a surgeon would feel he or she better hurry it up during *surgery* or the insurance company might not pay for the anesthesia, is a moral crime.

Spread this far and wide. Let BlueCross BlueShield know that we're all talking about this. And we're all disgusted.
