@GaryMarcus you'd be correct if GPT-5 was out and we haven't seen any major improvements over GPT-4, to me if looks like @OpenAI will use GPT-5 as the base model for o4. now I'm excited to see what R2 will be like.

@GaryMarcus 1. OpenAI's moat with GPT-4 was size and compute, v3 improves training similar a base model with much less compute.
2. R1 which is uses the new RL paradigm and is on par with o1 using much less compute when compare to o1.
