There was an account (now suspended) pretending to be a reporter last week. It was sending people what looked like a 'Calendly' authorisation link. This would allow the scammer to gain access to their account. So don't click on links in DMs unless you are really sure about them.

How was I hacked?

“A reporter” with 3k followers from an allegedly legit place asked me to schedule a podcast, and I foolishly clicked on a calendly link that looked legit. i shouldn’t have.

this gave the hackers permissions; i have now revoked those permissions and changed…
