@mtaibbi Both infowars and Newsmax have lost significant amounts of money in defamation lawsuits - showing they intentially distorted the truth and defamed private companies and citizens to support an unverified narrative.

This is pure privilege-think. If you don’t like InfoWars or Newsmax, beat them. But MSM outlets don’t like to work. They think they should be gifted seats, have competitors suppressed. That’s why they’re so terrible

@mtaibbi InfoWars and NewsMax are partisan infotainment outlets that spread conspiracy theories and MAGA propaganda. That’s not news. That’s not journalism. You can’t wallow with pigs without getting dirty yourself. Don’t normalize propaganda infotainment as if it is legitimate news.
