@marwilliamson Basically you just described Rigging the system , so we are all mediocre. What makes America excellent is drive ambition and innovation. What you describe is socialism which breeds mediocrity. Of course we want every American to have the best lives. But what you just described

I understand the rage people in this country have felt for decades - not just the sense but the certainty that the system was rigged against them. That’s why I was always such a big supporter of Bernie Sanders. We deserve universal healthcare, like in every other advanced
