@GaryMarcus So? We still got o1 which is miles ahead of gpt 4 and which could’ve counted as gpt 5. The reason we don’t have gpt 5 yet as Sam said is that it’s harder than expected to create 1 unified model (which wasn’t the original plan for gpt 5)

@GaryMarcus That doesn’t refute what he said. Actually, the reasoning models (o1,o3, etc) show that he’s correct. LLMs do get better, there’s always more to scale and new mountains to climb
